This week is the start of Victorian Champions Week. Two of our members will be playing at Bendigo in a first for the Dandenong Club. Nics McKenzie, as Sandbelt Singles champion, will be at Bendigo in the last 16 of the Women’s Singles Championship this weekend. Kris Paine takes on the state’s best for the State Champion Of Champion title Friday 28th, and Saturday, the 29th of April.

Lorraine Dowson, a member of our Saturday pennant teams, will compete for the women’s title as the Stazlecki singles champion. She goes straight to the quarter-finals with a forfeit in the first round. Nics’ first match is at 9.30 Saturday morning
