We’ve got some fantastic news about our UBC efforts for 2024! This year, we’re over the moon to have two teams in action: Dandenong Blue and Dandenong Orange.
Leading the Blue team is our regular, Gary Kelly, a real force to be reckoned with. He’s teamed up again with our front-end whiz, Barrie Lester. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, we’ve brought Harry Goodwin from England on board—he’s ranked number eight in the world! What an incredible lineup.
The Orange team is buzzing with energy and brimming with fresh talent. We’ve got Sammy Atkinson and young Scot Aaron Betts from our very own Dandenong Club. They’ve already made a splash internationally. Joining them is Jack McShane from Marylands Club in NSW—a 19-year-old who’s snagged the 2024 Australian Indoor title and Australian pairs championship! Plus, Rob Wilson returns as coach; he was leading us when we won UBC’s first season.
We’re absolutely thrilled about what lies ahead and can’t wait to see these teams shine!
