Exciting news for our dedicated Dandenong Club bowlers! We have completed our program for the 2023/24 season. In doing so, we can announce that we have accepted an invitation from Broadbeach Bowls Club to enter their prestigious five-side competition in September 2023.
At Dandenong Club, we strive to provide opportunities for bowlers of all levels. From Jack Attack and social play for the casual bowlers to the high-stakes BPL and UBC competitions for the elite players, we cater to everyone’s needs.
This year we progress to play the newly established Premier B competition. That will bring another unique set of challenges to our aspiration to remain a success at the higher levels. We are pleased to announce Britt Jago, also known as Wombat, as our coach for the upcoming season. With his level four coaching accreditation, Wombat is a valuable asset to our program, helping us continually improve and elevate our game to higher levels.
To achieve success at the level we aspire to play, we understand the importance of challenging ourselves against the best. That’s why our bowls program for 2023/24 includes funding for franchise ownership and entry into the VBL, participation in the Broadbeach Fives and Warilla Fours, as well as franchise ownership and entry into the UBC. Our Melbourne Pulse Franchise remains an integral part of our ambitious plans for the season.
Additionally, by funding player entries, we continue to support our members’ participation in prestigious tournaments such as the Australian Open, Vic Open, and Sandbelt Championships. We are committed to providing our bowlers with opportunities to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
