Bowls Club Membership

Members of Dandenong Club can apply to join the Bowls Section by paying an annual bowls subscription.

Membership of the bowls section shall consist of persons who have been accepted as members of the club in accordance with the constitution and have paid their bowls sports section fees. Bowls members shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the bowls section as described in the table below

Eligible to vote at Bowls Section general meetings and hold office of the Bowls Section.

Entry to club championships,

Registered for club pennant play. Access to the Dandenong Club greens during times specified for practice purposes

Life members

No Fee

Has rendered special service or services over a period in excess of 10 years Eligible to vote at Bowls Section general meetings and hold office of the Bowls Section.

Access to the Dandenong Club greens during times specified for practice purposes

Junior Members

$25

Under 25 years of age on July 1 of the current financial year. On attaining the age of 18 years a junior member must be a full financial member of Dandenong Club

Has paid the bowls section annual subscription fee.

If over the age of 18 years, eligible to vote at Bowls Section general meetings and able to hold office of the Bowls Section.

Entry to club championships.

Registered for club pennant play.

Access to the Dandenong Club greens during times specified for practice purposes

Dual Members

$60

Full financial member of Dandenong Club

A financial member of another Bowls Victoria affiliated club and has nominated that club for affiliation purposes.

Has paid the bowls section annual subscription fee.

Eligible to play pennant bowls provided any required permit has been acquired from the players “nominated” club.
