Another week down, and some great bowls have been played. Last Thursday (7th November) we had our Ladies play their Singles Final, Nics McKenzie and Sammy Atkinson, with Sammy coming out on top. Well done, Sammy. Last week was the first time DC has Live Stream a Club Championship games, and what a game to stream. Many thanks to Jan Rolph, for jumping into the Copilot set and helping me out with commentary of this game, well done Jan and I’ve heard nothing but positive comments about your debut on the Live stream. Well also had the Men play off in the Semi Final of the Men’s Singles with Aaron Betts and Ben Lucas taking out the chocolate.
This week will see Ben Lucas take on Aaron Betts for the Men’s Single Final, this will be a cracker of a game, so come down to the Club and show your support, if you can’t make it down to the Club ,the game will be Live Streamed from 7.00 pm on Facebook (there could be a couple of member making their announcing debut). Other games being played on Thu are the Final of the Women’s Pairs, Linda Emmwtt/Karen Wilson Vs Merrell Black/Jan Rolph, this game will be a game to watch, but wait there’s more, We will also be starting the Open Minor Singles.
