Day two of the singles sectionals was another solid day for Dandenong Club players. Brenton McKenzie and Paul Meyers made it to the knockout rounds, which commence on Saturday, the 15th. Missing out were Phillip Cookson and Jeff Thompson. BPL star Gary Kelly showed his class with three comfortable wins.
Meanwhile, its a busy day tomorrow, Scott Guymer (section 308), Matt Arnold (section 313), and Anthony Lee (section 256) will get their chance to qualify. Jarryd Davies (section 322) will also be out there.
The women’s pairs sectionals get underway with Nics McKenzie and Trish Culinane from Richmond Union (section13) at Coolangatta, Samantha Atkinson and New Zealand’s Salina Goddard (section 3) head for Club Robina and Annette McCormack and Sophie Jing (section26) will be at Mudgeeraba.
