Today saw the completion of the Men’s singles qualifiers, with solid performances from Matt Arnold and Jarryd Davies. Sammy Atkinson and her NZ partner Selena Goddard advanced to the knockout rounds in the women’s pairs. Ellen Fife and her Comm. Games partner Kristina Kristic had a convincing day, also moving to the knockout stage.

The men’s knockout rounds commence next Saturday. Seven players from Dandenong Club pennant teams last year remaining the singles;

Kris Paine, Matt Arnold, Britt Jago, Brenton McKenzie, Paul Meyers, Mark Petty, Jarryd Davies.

Our UBC and BPL reps Gary Kelly, Barrie Lester and Sean Ingham are also at the pointy end of the competition.
