The DC12000 Finals, held on Friday, March 1st, showcased 16 pairs battling for the top spot in four rounds of intense competition. The final match featured Ryan Kearns from Essendon and Michael Stevenson from the Dandenong Club facing off against Traralgon’s Nicholas Turnbull and Matt Ferrari.
In a tense showdown that came down to the last end with the score tied at 3-3, Kearns made a decisive move by driving the jack into the ditch and landing virtually on top of it and making it impossible to be beaten.
The winners received a substantial $3000 prize, with the runners-up taking home $2000. The remaining 14 teams were also rewarded, sharing a total of $7000.
