BPL Triples
Sat 22nd July and Sun 23rd July
Short Format just like the BPL played right here at the Dandenong Club! 32 teams – 8 sections of 4 teams. Best in each section will qualify for Finals.
On the Saturday there will be a morning and afternoon qualifying session, with the finals played on Sunday. Draws will be conducted on the day.
$105 entry for a team of 3 players; open gender and any combinations can be used.
This is a Tier 4 Ranking event. Bowls Australia approved attire must be worn.
Format
- 2 Bowl Triples consisting of 2 Sets of 5 Ends – with 1 Powerplay Per Set and a Tiebreak if required.
- Games will be limited to 1 hour and 15 minutes each, with a bell signalling when time is up (this includes set play only and excludes any tie breaks).
- Jack placed each end on one of two pre-defined positions (short and long). If the end is killed, the jack will be repositioned on the 1 metre T and play will continue – NO DEAD ENDS.
- One Power Play per set for each team which must be nominated to the opposing team before the end commences. This doubles shots scored for that end. RED jacks will be used.
Open draw will decide who plays each other in the Quarter Finals.
Winners to play off in each final.
Dandenong Club Bowls Operations Manager has the final decision on any disputes during the running of the tournament.
