The Countdown Years Dandenong comes live to The Dandenong Club on Sunday 4 October, featuring Tottie Goldsmith and Silverfox for a two-hour celebration of the iconic Countdown era.
We’re absolutely buzzing to host this huge musical celebration, starring the fabulous Tottie Goldsmith from the Chantoozies, along with powerhouse band Silverfox. If you grew up with Countdown on the telly – or you’ve just fallen in love with the music of that era – this is your chance to relive the magic, live on stage.
Countdown was the longest-running music show in Aussie TV history. Created by Ian “Molly” Meldrum and a team of visionary ABC producers, it lit up our screens from 1974 to 1987 and helped launch the careers of global superstars like Blondie, ABBA, Cyndi Lauper and so many more. It wasn’t just a show – it was a soundtrack to a generation.
Now, The Countdown Years brings it all roaring back in a high-energy, two-hour live concert packed with the music, the mayhem and the memories of that golden era. No backing tracks, no lip-syncing – just a dynamic live band, brilliant vocalists and hit after hit after hit.
