Conditions Of Play

A team entry will consist of 4 players and must be submitted in the intended order of play for game one fours.

Each Player will play 2 games of 4s and 2 Games of Pairs.

Each player must play in a different position in their 4s games.

Playing combinations and positions for all games must be submitted before the commencement of game one.

No pre-determined team order may be changed without permission from event organisers, which would only be granted in special circumstances.

Event will commence at 10:00am with fours followed by the pairs games at approximately 12.00pm and the second 4s games at approximately 2:30pm.

4s games will be 12 ends, 2 bowls per player.

Pairs games will be 6 ends, 3 bowls per player.

Pairs combinations will be determined from the order of play from game one fours.

Pre-determined pairs order of play. Game two Skip and 3rd. Game two 2nd and lead. Game three Skip and Lead. Game four 3rd and 2nd.

All games will be played under the roof

A 2 end roll up will apply in game one only.

There will be no dead ends, re spot position on the centre T will apply in all games.

10 points for a win will be allocated for each game. 5 points will be awarded to each team for a draw. And 1 point will be allocated for each end won in each game.

The event winners will be determined by the total number of points won  (including ends). In the event of equal points the total number of shots difference will be used.

Individual game winners will be the by best shots difference. In the event of a draw the highest number of ends won would be used, then the greater shots up, then the fewer shots given.

Overall winners per team. 1st prize $1200, 2nd prize $800, 3rd prize $400. Best individual game winners $100.

No Team may win more than one cash prize.

Event committee management will have the authority to vary conditions of play if required and event committee decisions will be binding.
