TUESDAY NIGHT PAIRS – ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
It’s a short form of the game for the serious bowler who loves the game’s competitive side.
Starts on 27th June and ends on 18th July 2023.
- 2 players per team each week with a maximum of 3 players registered in each team.
- 16 teams divided into 4 sections of 4 teams – 3 week season with one week of Finals.
- Entry Fee $50.00 per team.
- Casual dress can be worn.
- Open gender and any combinations can be used.
- 3 Bowl Pairs with 2 sets of 7 ends and a one-end tie break if required.
- Games will be limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes, and a bell will be signalled once the time is up (this excludes any tie breaks and only includes sets play).
- Jack placed each end on one of two pre-defined positions (short and long).
- If the end is killed, the jack would be repositioned on the 1 metre T and play would continue – NO DEAD ENDS!!
- One Power Play per set for each team which must be nominated to the opposing team before the end commences, which doubles shots scored for the end.
- The top team from each section will play a Grand Finals Night.
Semi-Final 1 – Winner of Section 1 v Winner of Section 3.
Semi-Final 2 – Winner of Section 2 v Winner of Section 4.
Final – Winner of Semi-Final 1 v Winner of Semi-Final 2.
- Prizemoney – Winners will get $600.00 and Runner-Up $200.00.
- Dandenong Club Bowls Operations Manager has the final decision on any disputes during the running of this tournament.
