Day 3 was always going to be tough. A game against Moama was carried over from day two resulting in us playing five matches against highly ranked teams. The other games were Marylands, two teams from St Johns Park and the mighty Cabramatta. We finished the day down twelve against Marylands, down ten to St Johns Blue, just five to Cabramatta and then by three to St Johns Blue. Well done to Matty, Clark, Veitchy and Steevo for such a solid effort. There are just two games remaining for us to play today against Dapto and Helensvale.
Heading to the finals, the top four is currently Broadbeach, Cabramatta, Moama and the home Club Warilla. Whist our club team wont be featuring this afternoon there will be plenty of love left for Barrie Lester, Jarryd Davies (Broadbeach) and Gary Kelly (Warilla) who have been part of our success in 2023/24.
