Nics storms to Sandbelt Singles Final
In a convincing semi-final at Brighton last week, Dandenong Club’s Nics McKenzie stormed into the Sandbelt women’s singles final. She played Murraumbeena park’s Joe Gibcus in a 25 to 9 win and will now play Canadian Comm games representative Kelly Mc Kerihan, who plays for Clayton.
Nics has been in solid form after her preparation for the Australian Indoors Singles finals and the Australian Nationals, where she played in the pairs titles. She dropped just 45 shots in the four wins it took to reach the finals.
