Bowls Victoria Nines Competitions to Commence

The Club will this year field two teams in Bowls Victoria’s Saturday Nines competition and three teams in the Tuesday competition

All about Nines.

    Three weeks of play – Sept 3rd h, Sept 1oth, Sept 17th

    9 players per side

    1 rink of 4’s, playing 15 ends

    1 rink of two-bowl triples, playing 18 ends

    1 rink of three-bowl pairs, playing 18 ends

    Play is scheduled to commence at noon, with two trial ends to be completed before the commencement time.

    Dandenong Club has entered 2 teams into the Pre-Season 9’s. Two Teams in Division A .

    The selectors will be selecting a playing squad from those who are available to play.

    Teams will be published on the Dandenong Club website by Tuesday of the week before play.

    Selected teams will be on the club website and notice board on the Tuesday preceding each round. It is envisaged that all squad members will play at least one match in this competition

    • 1 rink of two-bowl triples, playing 18 ends
    • 1 rink of three-bowl pairs, playing 18 ends

    Play is scheduled to commence at 10am, with two trial ends to be completed before the commencement time.

    Dandenong Club has entered 3 teams into the Pre-Season 9’s. One Team is in Division A and two will be in Division B.

    Players for Division A will be selected from players with a capacity to play the stronger midweek Divisions.

    The selectors will be selecting a playing squad from those who are available to play.

    Players who wish to make themselves available for play should complete the availability to play in the book on the counter above the jacks and mats cupboard.

    Teams will be published on the Dandenong Club website by Friday of the week before play.
