The Right at Home Jackaroos have done it again! After several days of fabulous competition, they concluded the 2023 Multi Nations by capturing a plethora of medals on the final day at the Broadbeach Bowls Club. The team representing Australia brought home 16 awards, including seven golds, to add to their impressive collection.
One notable aspect of the medal presentations was the strong presence of Melbourne Pulse representatives at the games. Our team members had a significant impact on the results.
In the singles category, representing Ireland, Gary Kelly defeated Aaron Wilson 21-19 to take home the bronze medal and in the pairs, together with partner Adam McKeown, won a gold medal. Jackaroo Ellen Ryan shone in the singles event, winning gold after defeating Kelsey Cottrell 21-14. Ryan also won a bronze medal in the pairs event, teaming up with Kristina Krstic.
In the triples event, Barrie Lester teamed up with Matt Lucas and Corey Wedlock to clinch the gold medal for the Jackaroos.
