Dandenong Club are proud to celebrate the selection of two of our members in the Victorian Women’s Side. Only BPL powerhouse Moama were able to name more players in the 12-team squads to face the formidable Queensland next month.
Samantha Atkinson will aim to continue her fine form following her announcement in the Aussie Performance Pathways team to play in the Oceania Challenge later this year. Nicole McKenzie makes a deserved return to the state side, having made her Big V debut against New South Wales last year. Both were in the VBL 3 side that just locked in their place in the finals at CluBarham this weekend.
Club Tweed, just south of the Gold Coast, will play host to the Test Series in September. Wish Sammy and Nics the best of luck for their time away and hopefully we can bring the Series home to Victoria!
