Dandenong Club welcomes Michael Stevenson to the Club for season 2023/24. Michael arrived in Australia from Scotland in October 2023 and will transfer from Essendon Bowls Club for the coming pennant season. He will be part of our VBL team to play the sectionals on Fri, the 25th and Sat, the 26th of August and head for the Gold Coast in September when we contest the Broadbeach Five a Side. Michael was named Scotland’s Young Player of the Year in 2018, having won two gold medals in the British Isles Under 18’s. He has been part of the Scottish Under 25 program. In the 2023 Vic Open, Michael was part of the winning men’s triples combination. He has an honours degree in International Business and will be employed by the Club in various operational roles.
