It was a tougher day on the green on day two at Warilla with rain affected play and the round 8 for our boys deferred to Wednesday morning.
But what we managed to get through resulted in some strong showings. We played Carrimal first up where we were one game all but missed the aggregated win by 8 shots. In the second round of the day Tweed Heads got the better of us. We went down just two shots on one rink but overall beaten by 10 shots. In what turned out to be our final match for the day, playing Pine Rivers we finished with an great result, two rinks up and a 13 shot win overall.
Our round 9 game was deferred to Wednesday morning where we played the other Victorian affiliated team Moama who nailed us on one rink but just got up on the last end on Steevo’s rink.
Today looks challenging as we play Marylands, each of the St Johns teams and Cabramatta.
